Stefan Mroczynski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tymoteusz Wieczorek in the 9th managed to get into a good position. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dawid Olchawa in the 14th minute of play forced Fc Kopalniana's goalkeeper Andrzej Gomolka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 15 minutes, Witalis Rasiak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fc Kopalniana and the Sossnowitz players grew even worse after the yellow card. Andrzej Gomolka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dawid Olchawa in the 16th minute of the match. Andrzej Gomolka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dawid Olchawa, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. If Ryszard Nocny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sossnowitz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ryszard Nocny was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 35 minutes into the match, Fc Kopalniana's goal looked a bit too open when Dawid Olchawa came free, but Andrzej Gomolka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute, Pankracy Grabski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dawid Olchawa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Mariusz Wojtkiewicz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andrzej Gomolka was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonard Niemoj during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leonard Niemoj hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 54th minute of the match Grzegorz Moryl shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stefan Mroczynski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tymoteusz Wieczorek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stefan Mroczynski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tymoteusz Wieczorek's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Korneliusz Penc hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Ryszard Nocny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute Pankracy Grabski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Mroczynski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
