The audience thought a goal was coming when Zbyszek Grondzki got free with Zygmunt Matela in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elia Rozzi in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomasz Nakoneczny prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 35 minutes into the game, Smardów's Zbyszek Grondzki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zygmunt Matela made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. BAD BOYS OSTRÓW WIELKOPOL's Elia Rozzi got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elia Rozzi in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomasz Nakoneczny saved Smardów from getting behind. Zbyszek Grondzki's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 46thth minute, Zygmunt Matela skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tomasz Nakoneczny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elia Rozzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elia Rozzi was the one to do the kick off. Wincenty Cichewski was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 62 minutes into the match. After 61 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for BAD BOYS OSTRÓW WIELKOPOL! Tanek Piglowski's late challenge caught a Smardów's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tanek Piglowski helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to BAD BOYS OSTRÓW WIELKOPOL getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Tanek Piglowski hit a great ball. Tomasz Nakoneczny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Leoncio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zygmunt Matela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Przemyslaw Arnista in the 82nd minute of the match. Ulryk Scislowicz charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ulryk Scislowicz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 89 minutes into the match, Faustino Leoncio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tomasz Nakoneczny. Smardów's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Faustino Leoncio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Zygmunt Matela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Przemyslaw Arnista, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Despite being the better team, BAD BOYS OSTRÓW WIELKOPOL failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
