The supporters of Kolczyn SSA booed when Polonia Warszawa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogdan Kanczuszewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. A wasted opportunity for Kolczyn SSA. 10 minutes into the match, Polonia Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when Dawid Niedziela came free, but Gerd Koberstein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerd Koberstein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Napoleon Hejza in the 28th minute of the match. After 30 minutes of play, Kolczyn SSA's Napoleon Hejza made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gerd Koberstein was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Patrick Fockenbrock came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Polonia Warszawa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrick Fockenbrock couldn't finish the play. Witalis Dembkowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Witalis Dembkowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Slawomir Prusek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Witalis Dembkowski ran back to his position shaking his head. 44 minutes into the match, Kolczyn SSA's goalkeeper Slawomir Prusek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bogdan Kanczuszewski. In the 46th minute, Wlodzimierz Tychy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edgar Cipinski charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgar Cipinski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47th minute, Edgar Cipinski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Patrick Fockenbrock made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Napoleon Hejza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kolczyn SSA's supporters rose to their feet, but Napoleon Hejza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerd Koberstein breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Edgar Cipinski took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Gerd Koberstein to make any attempt to save it. Gerd Koberstein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dawid Niedziela, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patrick Fockenbrock in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Slawomir Prusek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 64 played minutes Kolczyn SSA got a freekick which was hit by Kajetan Liermann. After 71 minutes of play, Polonia Warszawa's Patrick Fockenbrock made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Slawomir Prusek was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 76th minute, Witalis Dembkowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Kolczyn SSA's goalkeeper Slawomir Prusek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Wlodzimierz Tychy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Grzegorz Adamowicz hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Slawomir Prusek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Witalis Dembkowski in the 95th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Kolczyn SSA eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
