After 3 minutes, Wieslaw Majczyk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wróbliczanie and the Lech Poznań players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wojciech Gondela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lech Poznań. Lech Poznań's Walery Skaradowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ziemowit Kaszubowski in the 17th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bogdan Sobania during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th minute, Bogdan Sobania hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Walery Skaradowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Korneliusz Czerner in the 23rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Wróbliczanie's zone, Roland Rydzewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wojciech Gondela came out of the goal and Roland Rydzewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wojciech Gondela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Barros Schelotto in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Kajetan Trela got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 34 minutes, Roland Rydzewski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lech Poznań and the Wróbliczanie players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 34 played minutes Lech Poznań got a freekick which was hit by Roland Rydzewski. When Pankracy Misiorowski fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lech Poznań's protests and gave Pankracy Misiorowski a yellow card for diving instead. Pankracy Misiorowski hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Lech Poznań's Walery Skaradowski got control of the ball when Korneliusz Czerner tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guillermo Barros Schelotto made a kick off. Guillermo Barros Schelotto was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 60th minute. Lech Poznań's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 61 played minutes Wróbliczanie got a freekick which was hit by Wieslaw Majczyk. Thanks to some nice moves Juhan Kulu could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Wojciech Gondela however easily saved by the left post. Wieslaw Majczyk struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Walery Skaradowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wróbliczanie. In the 69th minute Guillermo Barros Schelotto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wojciech Gondela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Wróbliczanie getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Wieslaw Majczyk hit a great ball. In the 74th match minute, Wróbliczanie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olgierd Mosiniak to maneuver through the defense. Wróbliczanie's Wojciech Gondela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Wróbliczanie from getting a goal against them. Walery Skaradowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ziemowit Kaszubowski in the 87th minute of the match. Wojciech Gondela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillermo Barros Schelotto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the match, Juhan Kulu notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Wróbliczanie's Wojciech Gondela. Wojciech Gondela was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match was over Lech Poznań could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Wróbliczanie throughout the match.
