Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Grzegorz Ludwa made the kick off and thus started the match. FC Nowa's Aureliusz Barniszke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olgierd Witek in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Olaf Moryl had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aureliusz Barniszke. FC Nowa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olaf Moryl was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of Thyrau SA booed when FC Nowa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Szczepan Zacharek didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute of the match Borys Jankowski shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aureliusz Barniszke showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Grzegorz Ludwa in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michael Faße saved Thyrau SA from getting behind. Szczepan Zacharek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Paul Barbosu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Radoslaw Zabrzeski charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Radoslaw Zabrzeski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aureliusz Barniszke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radoslaw Zabrzeski in the 22nd minute of the match. Szczepan Zacharek hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the match, FC Nowa's goal looked a bit too open when Olgierd Witek came free, but Aureliusz Barniszke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 31 minutes, Feliks Fronczak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Nowa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feliks Fronczak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michael Faße made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Stanislaw Sroka sent off a good shot on target. 33 minutes into the match, Olgierd Witek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aureliusz Barniszke. Karol Japola hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Szczepan Zacharek was extremely unlucky when he, in the 42nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Paul Barbosu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Michael Faße tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stanislaw Sroka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Thyrau SA were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olgierd Witek made a kick off. Michael Faße showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grzegorz Ludwa, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Olaf Moryl could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Aureliusz Barniszke made a huge save. In the 58th minute, Thyrau SA's Karol Japola ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aureliusz Barniszke. Aureliusz Barniszke yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Radoslaw Zabrzeski took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Aureliusz Barniszke to make any attempt to save it. The audience was convinced that Grzegorz Ludwa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Michael Faße was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. In the 67th minute, Feliks Fronczak made a precise shot to the right of Michael Faße. Thyrau SA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radoslaw Zabrzeski in the 71st minute of play forced FC Nowa's goalkeeper Aureliusz Barniszke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Konrad Pasterski got free with Aureliusz Barniszke in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 78 minutes into the match, FC Nowa's Stanislaw Sroka sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Michael Faße narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Grzegorz Ludwa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Michael Faße tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Thyrau SA's Zygmunt Ptaszek got a free kick in the 86th minute. Michael Faße took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Szczepan Zacharek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute Konrad Pasterski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliusz Barniszke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Thyrau SA's Olgierd Witek dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Thyrau SA eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
