Marian Biegun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barnaba Szkarpiak in the 4th minute of play. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 27 minutes into the game, one of Rengers:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 32nd minute, Ksawery Gmoch fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. Ksawery Gmoch hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barnaba Szkarpiak in the 39th minute of play forced Rengers's goalkeeper Marian Biegun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rengers's Marian Biegun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Jaworski in the 42nd minute of play. Cyprian Bejgier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cyprian Bejgier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 66th minute of the match, Cyprian Bejgier tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marian Biegun saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Karol Laskowski fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rengers's protests and gave Karol Laskowski a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th minute, Karol Laskowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marian Biegun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cyprian Bejgier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute, Norbert Purzycki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Rengers's Ksawery Gmoch got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 82nd minute, Cyprian Bejgier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marian Biegun was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 89th minute of the match, Cyprian Bejgier tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marian Biegun saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience held their breath when Wladyslaw Chowaniec in the 94th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Dariusz Napierkowski's left hand side. In the 95th match minute, GZKS Sośnica Gliwice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franciszek Dulka to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded GZKS Sośnica Gliwice left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rengers.
