Iwan Kaszubik didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jerzy Duszenski went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 21st minute, Eusebio Beltran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iwan Kaszubik was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. When Marek Smolak fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gryf Słupsk's protests and gave Marek Smolak a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th minute, Marek Smolak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gryf Słupsk's Teobald Galus quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Roland Gdaniec, made in the 30th minute of the game. Marek Smolak struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Szymon Buda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gryf Słupsk. Iwan Kaszubik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loughlin Deery in the 37th minute of play. Iwan Kaszubik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melquiades Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Gryf Słupsk's Iwan Kaszubik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerzy Duszenski in the 45th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jerzy Duszenski was the one to do the kick off. Iwan Kaszubik was a little too slow when Melquiades Abreu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 0-5. Roland Gdaniec made in the 65th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Roland Gdaniec immediately put the ball in play. 67 minutes into the match, Melquiades Abreu notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Gryf Słupsk's Iwan Kaszubik. Iwan Kaszubik was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Melquiades Abreu hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Loughlin Deery managed to get in a good position for a shot. ŁKS Unia Łukawiec's supporters rose to their feet, but Loughlin Deery was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iwan Kaszubik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerzy Duszenski in the 96th minute of play forced Gryf Słupsk's goalkeeper Iwan Kaszubik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched ŁKS Unia Łukawiec eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
