Jens-Åke Söderlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miroslaw Klocko having to interfere. The OZS Guzikówka Krosno fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when OZS Guzikówka Krosno's Jens-Åke Söderlund looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 30th minute of the match, Feliks Budrewicz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Teofil Barys was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 32 minutes into the game, OZS Guzikówka Krosno's Antoni Orlicki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After the first half OZS Guzikówka Krosno were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jens-Åke Söderlund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Mēxihcatlahtohcāyōtl's goalkeeper Miroslaw Klocko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jens-Åke Söderlund. After 54 minutes, Feliks Budrewicz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mēxihcatlahtohcāyōtl and the OZS Guzikówka Krosno players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th minute, Feliks Budrewicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miroslaw Klocko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jens-Åke Söderlund went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. Mēxihcatlahtohcāyōtl's Miroslaw Klocko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Mēxihcatlahtohcāyōtl from getting a goal against them. After having played for 72 minutes, Jurand Porajewski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. OZS Guzikówka Krosno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jurand Porajewski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 80th minute, Gustaw Korytkowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jens-Åke Söderlund got free with Miroslaw Klocko in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. OZS Guzikówka Krosno's Teofil Barys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliks Budrewicz in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Mēxihcatlahtohcāyōtl's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jens-Åke Söderlund fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the match was over OZS Guzikówka Krosno could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mēxihcatlahtohcāyōtl throughout the match.
