The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Macedonio Solana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Macedonio Solana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Czeslaw Kiewra having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Macedonio Solana put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Czeslaw Kiewra. Czeslaw Kiewra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Macedonio Solana in the 15th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the game, Krzysztof Kaczanek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Czeslaw Kiewra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Macedonio Solana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Janusz Ciempa charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Janusz Ciempa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 23rd minute, Janusz Ciempa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Barcelona's Czeslaw Kiewra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Barcelona from getting a goal against them. FC Barcelona's Czeslaw Kiewra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Kaminski in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute, WKS Wierzbowa's Macedonio Solana ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Czeslaw Kiewra. Czeslaw Kiewra yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Macedonio Solana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Czeslaw Kiewra having to interfere. Janusz Ciempa was shown his second yellow card after 32 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to FC Barcelona getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Janusz Ciempa hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, WKS Wierzbowa's Cezary Patora broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With a little luck, FC Barcelona's Czeslaw Kiewra got control of the ball when Krzysztof Kaczanek tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emil Kaminski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Czeslaw Kiewra having to make a save. 45 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Kaminski came free, but Czeslaw Kiewra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Emil Kaminski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Macedonio Solana to strike the kick off in the second half. Tobiasz Makarewicz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hans-Werner Humer's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mateusz Basaik got free with Tobiasz Makarewicz in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hans-Werner Humer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Macedonio Solana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Czeslaw Kiewra was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Krzysztof Kaczanek struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Czeslaw Kiewra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for WKS Wierzbowa. Tobiasz Makarewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans-Werner Humer in the 67th minute of play. Tobiasz Makarewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans-Werner Humer, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 71 minutes into the match, WKS Wierzbowa's goalkeeper Tobiasz Makarewicz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Penvro Erwin. Tobiasz Makarewicz was a little too slow when Hans-Werner Humer got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 3-1. In the 80th minute, Zenon Wydrych hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eugeniusz Dudek kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 3-2 became the score in the 87th minute when Hans-Werner Humer elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.
