Piramida Kielce's supporters crossed their fingers, but Forrest Yeats was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wlodzimierz Gieraltowski in the 69th minute of play forced Piramida Kielce's goalkeeper Pawel Kapera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Forrest Yeats received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Wiktor Biskupiak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the game, Lech Kissel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Piramida Kielce's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grube Kupy the free kick. The audience was convinced that Kazimierz Glembin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pawel Kapera was relentless in the 98th minute of the game.
