Wojciech Piglowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Grabski having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wojciech Piglowski in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Grabski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Artur Giertych took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marek Lesiecki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Artur Giertych showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marek Lesiecki, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 24 minutes, Waclaw Siembab mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the METALURG KIELCE and the Kokociniec players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Kokociniec booed when METALURG KIELCE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waclaw Siembab didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kokociniec's Konrad Kaczucha couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 25th minute. METALURG KIELCE's Artur Giertych played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marek Lesiecki in the 39th minute of play. With his leg Artur Giertych managed to avoid a goal in the 47thth minute, when Kokociniec's Dawid Charamut fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Daniel Grabski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zbyszko Zawacki went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The Kokociniec players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. METALURG KIELCE were winning 0-2.

54 minutes into the match, METALURG KIELCE's goal looked a bit too open when Marek Lesiecki came free, but Artur Giertych reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Daniel Grabski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 58th minute Dawid Charamut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Giertych saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of METALURG KIELCE booed when Kokociniec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tanek Kornecki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Grabski acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 62nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Wladyslaw Iwanowski. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonard Lodowy during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Kokociniec's Leonard Lodowy got a free kick in the 68th minute. When Wojciech Piglowski in the 69th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Daniel Grabski kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-3 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. After a defensive mix-up in Kokociniec's zone, Zbyszko Zawacki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Grabski came out of the goal and Zbyszko Zawacki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zbyszko Zawacki got free with Daniel Grabski in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 83 played minutes METALURG KIELCE got a freekick which was hit by Wojciech Piglowski. Daniel Grabski was a little too slow when Waclaw Siembab got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 0-4. The METALURG KIELCE supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing METALURG KIELCE would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
