Antoni Arnista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksander Nikodemski having to interfere. The referee gave Lech Poznan a penalty, 33 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Leszek Pahucki, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Baligród's Aleksander Nikodemski. 1-0. Leszek Pahucki's late challenge caught a Baligród's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leszek Pahucki helped the player get up and apologised. 39 minutes into the game, one of Lech Poznan:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 41st minute there was a penalty for Baligród. Jaroslaw Rukszcz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sebastian Skoroda. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ziemowit Nigbor in the 45th minute of play forced Lech Poznan's goalkeeper Sebastian Skoroda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After 53 minutes of play Lech Poznan's Iwan Kosiorek was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Iwan Kosiorek kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After 55 played minutes, Baligród's Jaroslaw Rukszcz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sebastian Skoroda came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Baligród reached it. Aleksander Nikodemski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Niewiadomski in the 64th minute of the match. Sebastian Skoroda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeusz Gondela in the 68th minute of play. If Jan Niewiadomski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Jakub Jankowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the match, Lech Poznan's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeusz Gondela came free, but Sebastian Skoroda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85thth minute of the game Tadeusz Gondela who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lech Poznan's Sebastian Skoroda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jan Niewiadomski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Aleksander Nikodemski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 92 played minutes Baligród got a freekick which was hit by Stasio Naumowicz.
