Ksawery Chrobak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wincent Glaza, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Boguslaw Rosiewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dąbrowa Górnicza's supporters rose to their feet, but Boguslaw Rosiewicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wladyslaw Erland breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Chonelowice's Tytus Patrylo got a free kick in the 10th minute. The supporters of Chonelowice booed when Dąbrowa Górnicza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teobald Budzynski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ksawery Chrobak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wincent Glaza in the 20th minute of play. Ksawery Chrobak was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wincent Glaza showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 26 minute of play. When Chonelowice's Wincent Glaza in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Leonard Rzeszutkos short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Ksawery Chrobak to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Wladyslaw Erland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boguslaw Rosiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boguslaw Rosiewicz's late challenge caught a Chonelowice's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Boguslaw Rosiewicz helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Chonelowice booed when Dąbrowa Górnicza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boguslaw Rosiewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wincent Glaza made a kick off. If Boguslaw Rosiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boguslaw Rosiewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wladyslaw Erland having to interfere. 55 minutes into the game, Dąbrowa Górnicza's Przemyslaw Nieruchliwy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wladyslaw Erland made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Tobiasz Redisz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Chonelowice's Teobald Ludzia got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 71st minute Damazy Redisz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ksawery Chrobak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dąbrowa Górnicza's Ksawery Chrobak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wincent Glaza in the 72nd minute of play. Ksawery Chrobak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damazy Redisz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teobald Budzynski kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. With his leg Wladyslaw Erland managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Dąbrowa Górnicza's Boguslaw Rosiewicz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Wladyslaw Erland made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tobiasz Redisz in the 88th minute. 90 minutes into the game, Leonard Rzeszutko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Ksawery Chrobak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Dąbrowa Górnicza defense, Wincent Glaza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ksawery Chrobak. The Dąbrowa Górnicza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ksawery Chrobak should have stopped the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Dąbrowa Górnicza players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Chonelowice.
