In the 21st minute, Waclaw Karp ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zygmunt Majdoch was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When Juliusz Klucznik fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kawiory's protests and gave Juliusz Klucznik a yellow card for diving instead. After 26 played minutes Kawiory got a freekick which was hit by Juliusz Klucznik. Tymoteusz Zembrzuski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Kawiory's zone, Tymoteusz Zembrzuski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zygmunt Majdoch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tymoteusz Zembrzuski, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Tymoteusz Zembrzuski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zygmunt Majdoch read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Arkadiusz Poreda was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Szczepan Tomaka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute.
