Rafal Rakowski charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rafal Rakowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Korneliusz Penc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Walery Dombroski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Kochanowicz in the 16th minute of play. Polaris Żory's Walery Dombroski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Kochanowicz in the 26th minute of play. The supporters of PhoenixRulez booed when Polaris Żory was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldemar Wyrzykowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Polaris Żory defense, Rafal Rakowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Walery Dombroski. The Polaris Żory fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Walery Dombroski should have stopped the shot. Walery Dombroski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radomir Sobania in the 38th minute of the match. In the 45th minute, János Lőrinc got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Rafal Rakowskis short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Walery Dombroski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. PhoenixRulez's Edward Kochanowicz got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Walery Dombroski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Radomir Sobania showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 61 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Kochanowicz in the 67th minute of play forced Polaris Żory's goalkeeper Walery Dombroski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafal Rakowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walery Dombroski having to interfere. Polaris Żory's Walery Dombroski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radomir Sobania in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Kochanowicz in the 76th minute of play forced Polaris Żory's goalkeeper Walery Dombroski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, Radomir Sobania fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 80th minute, Rafal Rakowski made a precise shot to the right of Walery Dombroski. Polaris Żory's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Ziemowit Piglowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from János Lőrinc, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. When Fryderyk Tepper fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PhoenixRulez's protests and gave Fryderyk Tepper a yellow card for diving instead. In the 88th minute, Fryderyk Tepper hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, PhoenixRulez's Artur Lewandowski got a free kick in the 96th minute. PhoenixRulez's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
