In the 4th match minute, West Bromwich Albion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ryszard Basinski to maneuver through the defense. Lucjan Domala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kajetan Zukowski having to interfere. Kajetan Zukowski didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 9th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. When Gwidon Nigbor fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC OSIEK's protests and gave Gwidon Nigbor a yellow card for diving instead. Gwidon Nigbor hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 19thth minute of the game Gustaw Witek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC OSIEK's Kajetan Zukowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to FC OSIEK getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Eugeniusz Ciechocki hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the game, West Bromwich Albion's Gustaw Witek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kajetan Zukowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Slawomir Wojtowicz took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ignacy Ziomkowski. Ignacy Ziomkowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Ignacy Ziomkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulryk Lepucki in the 35th minute of play. Ulryk Lepucki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignacy Ziomkowski having to interfere. The supporters of FC OSIEK booed when West Bromwich Albion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roch Jucha didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, West Bromwich Albion's Lucjan Domala got a free kick in the 41st minute. 44 minutes into the match, West Bromwich Albion's goal looked a bit too open when Borys Dabrowski came free, but Ignacy Ziomkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Lucjan Domala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kajetan Zukowski having to interfere. Kajetan Zukowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucjan Domala in the 56th minute of play. Ryszard Basinski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kajetan Zukowski. FC OSIEK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Kajetan Zukowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustaw Witek's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Lucjan Domala took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kajetan Zukowski. Kajetan Zukowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. If Tanek Waldoch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the game, Zdzislaw Miecznikowski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ignacy Ziomkowski. Zdzislaw Miecznikowski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-2. 89 minutes into the match, FC OSIEK's goal looked a bit too open when Lucjan Domala came free, but Kajetan Zukowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the FC OSIEK defense, Lucjan Domala kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kajetan Zukowski. The FC OSIEK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kajetan Zukowski should have stopped the shot. If Slawomir Wojtowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
