The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Piła's goal looked a bit too open when Mieszko Czech came free, but Benedykt Mudry reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Mieszko Czech managed to get in a good position for a shot. Szestno's supporters rose to their feet, but Mieszko Czech was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benedykt Mudry breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wincent Mruk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Patryk Malicki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 17 minutes, Herbert Zatorski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Szestno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Herbert Zatorski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Waldemar Tarasek blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benedykt Mudry having to make a save. Benedykt Mudry showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mieszko Czech in the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th minute of the match Szestno got a corner. Piła's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tymoteusz Zecman ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tymoteusz Zecman made a great header on Szestno's corner, it was just that Piła's Benedykt Mudry managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, Piła's Cihan Alpaslan got a free kick in the 40th minute. Patryk Malicki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cihan Alpaslan's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. After having played for 45 minutes, Cihan Alpaslan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 52 minutes into the game, Mieszko Czech was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Szestno's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Piła the free kick. After a rather tough play, Szestno's Mieszko Czech got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Cihan Alpaslan in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Patryk Malicki, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cihan Alpaslan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patryk Malicki having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Piła's zone, Waldemar Tarasek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benedykt Mudry came out of the goal and Waldemar Tarasek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wincent Mruk hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 70th match minute, Szestno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldemar Tarasek to maneuver through the defense. When Cihan Alpaslan came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Piła fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cihan Alpaslan couldn't finish the play. Szestno's Mieszko Czech got his second yellow card of the match in the 83rd minute. The referee ordered Mieszko Czech off the ground. Mieszko Czech hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Cihan Alpaslan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Patryk Malicki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
