The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cyprian Chuchro's late challenge caught a Mieszko Gniezno's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cyprian Chuchro helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Maciejkowice's Cyprian Chuchro got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 5th minute, Waldemar Osowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 8 minutes into the match, Maciejkowice's goal looked a bit too open when Cyryl Basaik came free, but Benedykt Czajka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute Tanek Kisielka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stasio Markowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Tolek Kochowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mieszko Gniezno's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maciejkowice the free kick. When Cyprian Chuchro was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 28 minutes had been played. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Szczepan Obuchowicz in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benedykt Czajka prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Mieszko Gniezno's zone, Waldemar Osowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stasio Markowski came out of the goal and Waldemar Osowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Mieszko Gniezno getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Ksawery Witkowski hit a great ball. Benedykt Czajka didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Szczepan Obuchowicz went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Benedykt Czajka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Szczepan Obuchowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Szczepan Obuchowicz in the 42nd minute of play forced Maciejkowice's goalkeeper Benedykt Czajka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute Waldemar Osowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stasio Markowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, Mieszko Gniezno's Szczepan Obuchowicz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benedykt Czajka made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The Maciejkowice players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mieszko Gniezno were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Waldemar Osowski to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes in the game, Cyryl Basaik fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Benedykt Czajka having to interfere. The supporters of Mieszko Gniezno booed when Maciejkowice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Korneliusz Maciejewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Teofil Rosen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Korneliusz Maciejewski kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Stasio Markowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldemar Osowski in the 60th minute of play. Benedykt Czajka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cyryl Basaik, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Szczepan Obuchowicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Benedykt Czajka made a huge save. Cyryl Basaik received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benedykt Czajka came out and tried to block the shot, but Cyryl Basaik slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 67th minute. Radomil Miarka hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Stasio Markowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldemar Osowski in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldemar Osowski in the 74th minute of play forced Mieszko Gniezno's goalkeeper Stasio Markowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Mieszko Gniezno booed when Maciejkowice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radowit Jestrimski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute, Mieszko Gniezno's Szczepan Obuchowicz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Benedykt Czajka was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 92 minutes into the match, Slawomir Scislowicz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benedykt Czajka, 0-6. Benedykt Czajka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cyryl Basaik in the 95th minute.
