Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Wieslaw Karbowski took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Wieslaw Karbowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. KKS Lech Poznań's supporters rose to their feet, but Wieslaw Karbowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walery Turok breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eugeniusz Bronicki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Wieslaw Karbowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Smykowo's zone, Igor Puszynski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walery Turok came out of the goal and Igor Puszynski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wasyl Jeziorkowski kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Smykowo defense, Wieslaw Karbowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Walery Turok. The Smykowo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Walery Turok should have stopped the shot. 23 minutes into the match, KKS Lech Poznań's goal looked a bit too open when Wlodzimierz Duda came free, but Wladyslaw Rostow reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Smykowo's zone, Wieslaw Karbowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walery Turok came out of the goal and Wieslaw Karbowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wladyslaw Rostow showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Witalis Brudzisz, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Pedro Koehler in the 36th minute of play forced Smykowo's goalkeeper Walery Turok to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Witalis Brudzisz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Smykowo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KKS Lech Poznań the free kick. Witalis Brudzisz hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. KKS Lech Poznań were furious when Beniamin Prusek was red carded, 43 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Wlodzimierz Duda made the kick off in the second half. After 58 played minutes Smykowo got a freekick which was hit by Iwan Jakisz. Zula Marciewicz struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Walery Turok didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KKS Lech Poznań. Thanks to some nice moves Witalis Brudzisz could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Wladyslaw Rostow however easily saved by the left post. Wieslaw Karbowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. KKS Lech Poznań's Zula Marciewicz got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wieslaw Karbowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Wieslaw Karbowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Witalis Brudzisz got free with Wladyslaw Rostow in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Witalis Brudzisz kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Smykowo's zone, Wieslaw Karbowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walery Turok came out of the goal and Wieslaw Karbowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wlodzimierz Duda was extremely unlucky when he, in the 95th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. KKS Lech Poznań had played much better football throughout.
