Kurt Skräddare fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lech Wodaszak having to interfere. Lech Wodaszak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Skräddare in the 12th minute of the match. Lech Wodaszak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Skräddare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute, Jonas Göransson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15thth minute of the game Marek Penczkowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stal Rzeszów's Leopoldo Demesio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kurt Skräddare fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lech Wodaszak having to interfere. If Kurt Skräddare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Radoslaw Madej kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Lech Wodaszak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radoslaw Fedosz in the 34th minute of play. Wojciech Lerych charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wojciech Lerych the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Wojciech Lerych kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Kurt Skräddare's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lech Wodaszak was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Marek Penczkowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kurt Skräddare to make the kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Stal Rzeszów's Kurt Skräddare made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lech Wodaszak was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 56th minute Marek Penczkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Demesio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Heroes of Poland's Lech Wodaszak got control of the ball when Kurt Skräddare tried to sneak it across the goal line. 60 minutes into the game, Boguslaw Jaworski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Heroes of Poland's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stal Rzeszów the free kick. After having played for 62 minutes, Kurt Skräddare managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stal Rzeszów's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kurt Skräddare was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leopoldo Demesio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marek Penczkowski in the 64th minute of the match. Marek Penczkowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Demesio having to interfere. Kurt Skräddare recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marek Penczkowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Demesio having to interfere. After 84 played minutes Stal Rzeszów got a freekick which was hit by Walery Ochabski. The crowd rose to their feet as Stal Rzeszów's Kurt Skräddare slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lech Wodaszak. That made the score 0-2 after 86 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernard Grunwalski in the 92nd minute of play forced Stal Rzeszów's goalkeeper Leopoldo Demesio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stal Rzeszów's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
