If Korneliusz Juchno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Roland Jucha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lech Wodaszak having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marek Penczkowski made a kick off. After 59 minutes, Mariusz Mruk made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Heroes of Poland's Lech Wodaszak tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 63rd match minute, Heroes of Poland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radowit Tyszka to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute Mariusz Mruk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lech Wodaszak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lech Wodaszak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radomir Jakubiak in the 69th minute of the match. Mariusz Mruk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Korneliusz Juchno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
