Dereczanka SSA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manchester United the free kick. Lukasz Rakowicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrzej Zajonc, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. When Wladyslaw Czeberowski fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dereczanka SSA's protests and gave Wladyslaw Czeberowski a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Dereczanka SSA getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Wladyslaw Czeberowski hit a great ball. In the 11th minute, Dereczanka SSA's Andrzej Zajonc ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lukasz Rakowicz. Lukasz Rakowicz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Witalis Starogardzki who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Lukasz Rakowicz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Manchester United's Lukasz Rakowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrzej Zajonc in the 16th minute of play. Witalis Starogardzki's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Lukasz Rakowicz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ludomir Tarasek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolf Bäckström, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 28 played minutes Dereczanka SSA got a freekick which was hit by Wladyslaw Czeberowski. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Radoslaw Dziuma during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andrzej Galaska during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 47 played minutes Manchester United got a freekick which was hit by Andrzej Galaska. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Witalis Starogardzki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute Rolf Bäckström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludomir Tarasek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goal looked a bit too open when Witalis Starogardzki came free, but Lukasz Rakowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gwidon Skaradoski's late challenge caught a Dereczanka SSA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gwidon Skaradoski helped the player get up and apologised. Gwidon Skaradoski kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Dereczanka SSA's Wit Dulka got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Dereczanka SSA's goalkeeper Ludomir Tarasek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrzej Zajonc in the 85th minute of play forced Manchester United's goalkeeper Lukasz Rakowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Witalis Starogardzki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dereczanka SSA's supporters rose to their feet, but Witalis Starogardzki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lukasz Rakowicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Witalis Starogardzki in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lukasz Rakowicz saved Manchester United from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witalis Starogardzki in the 91st minute of play forced Manchester United's goalkeeper Lukasz Rakowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dereczanka SSA walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
