If Tobiasz Kasprzykowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olgierd Rzeszutko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beniamin Nuszkowski having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in borussia dortmund's zone, Adam Pietrasz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Beniamin Nuszkowski came out of the goal and Adam Pietrasz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tobiasz Kasprzykowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobiasz Kasprzykowski in the 28th minute of play forced borussia dortmund's goalkeeper Beniamin Nuszkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Tobiasz Kasprzykowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Łks Łódź's supporters rose to their feet, but Tobiasz Kasprzykowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Beniamin Nuszkowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Łks Łódź fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Beniamin Nuszkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Pietrasz in the 48th minute of the match. The borussia dortmund players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Łks Łódź were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adam Pietrasz to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Łks Łódź got a freekick which was hit by Pankracy Zerde. Ali Hamza Mertol struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Beniamin Nuszkowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Łks Łódź. Łks Łódź's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave borussia dortmund the free kick. After 66 played minutes borussia dortmund got a freekick which was hit by Tadeusz Wasikowski. With a little luck, borussia dortmund's Beniamin Nuszkowski got control of the ball when Tobiasz Kasprzykowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Łks Łódź's Tobiasz Kasprzykowski got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Beniamin Nuszkowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Tobiasz Kasprzykowski came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Łks Łódź fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tobiasz Kasprzykowski couldn't finish the play. Ali Hamza Mertol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Łks Łódź booed when borussia dortmund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeusz Wasikowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind borussia dortmund's goalkeeper Beniamin Nuszkowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Łks Łódź's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
