The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Boleslaw Dudek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Barnaba Dziechciowski in the 3rd minute. 5 minutes into the match, Manchester Utd's goalkeeper Boleslaw Dudek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Barnaba Dziechciowski. If Michal Gongola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Barnaba Dziechciowski came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Legienen SSA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barnaba Dziechciowski couldn't finish the play. After 16 minutes of play, Manchester Utd's Dariusz Lech made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filip Ledochowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! 20 minutes into the match, Legienen SSA's Barnaba Dziechciowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Boleslaw Dudek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Manchester Utd's Boleslaw Dudek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michal Gongola in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Teobald Kluska hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barnaba Dziechciowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Boleslaw Dudek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barnaba Dziechciowski succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 33rd playminute. After 43 played minutes Manchester Utd got a freekick which was hit by Cyryl Perkowski. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Michal Gongola stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Michal Gongola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boleslaw Dudek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boleslaw Dudek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michal Gongola in the 53rd minute of the match. If Michal Gongola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Barnaba Dziechciowski in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Boleslaw Dudek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Boleslaw Dudek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michal Gongola in the 60th minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Barnaba Dziechciowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Boleslaw Dudek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michal Gongola in the 65th minute of play. Zbyszek Prosowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Boleslaw Dudek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Legienen SSA getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Feliks Bartelak hit a great ball. In the 75th minute, Barnaba Dziechciowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Boleslaw Dudek was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 78th minute, Cyryl Perkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Barnaba Dziechciowski in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Boleslaw Dudek saved Manchester Utd from getting behind. Barnaba Dziechciowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boleslaw Dudek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michal Gongola in the 88th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Legienen SSA fully deserved thier win.
