The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Łódzki Klub Sportowy's Marcin Barycz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franciszek Damazki in the 4th minute of play. If Jurand Flis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When KS Pyrlandia Poznań's Franciszek Damazki in 36 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Marcin Barycz guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. The audience was convinced that Franciszek Damazki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcin Barycz was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Cyprian Galaska made the kick off in the second half. Marcin Barycz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franciszek Damazki in the 57th minute of play. After some careless play in the Łódzki Klub Sportowy defense, Franciszek Damazki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcin Barycz. The Łódzki Klub Sportowy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcin Barycz should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franciszek Damazki in the 74th minute of play forced Łódzki Klub Sportowy's goalkeeper Marcin Barycz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcin Barycz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Franciszek Damazki's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Lech Cytrynski might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcin Barycz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lech Cytrynski ran back to his position shaking his head. Franciszek Damazki scored 4-0 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcin Barycz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcin Barycz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franciszek Damazki in the 86th minute of play. When Stasio Tyskie came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the KS Pyrlandia Poznań fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stasio Tyskie couldn't finish the play. After 89 played minutes Łódzki Klub Sportowy got a freekick which was hit by Stanislaw Kieca. Franciszek Damazki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcin Barycz having to interfere.
