If Arkadiusz Falk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Manchester United's zone, Gilbert Gamza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florian Kolba came out of the goal and Gilbert Gamza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Florian Kolba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arkadiusz Falk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 29 played minutes Gingen SA got a freekick which was hit by Zbigniew Borkowski. 31 minutes into the game, Gilbert Gamza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Florian Kolba was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arkadiusz Falk in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florian Kolba prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

After a rather tough play, Manchester United's Witalis Lisewski got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Gingen SA's supporters rose to their feet, but Arkadiusz Falk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When the match was over Gingen SA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Manchester United throughout the match.
