When Izydor Bara fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Elite United Team's protests and gave Izydor Bara a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th minute, Michal Koprowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ksawery Fujara kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. It was beautiful to see Legia Warszawa's Julian Podolski in action when he in the 20th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Slawomir Pilipiec recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Elite United Team's goal looked a bit too open when Dawid Falkowski came free, but Leonard Kaminski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryszard Ciempa in the 29th minute of play forced Elite United Team's goalkeeper Leonard Kaminski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Slawomir Pilipiec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Slawomir Radziszewski having to interfere. Olaf Werra's late challenge caught a Elite United Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 38thth minute of the game Edward Kornecki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Legia Warszawa's Slawomir Radziszewski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Slawomir Pilipiec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Slawomir Pilipiec managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elite United Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Slawomir Pilipiec was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Slawomir Radziszewski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Slawomir Radziszewski had in the 66thth minute some difficulties stopping Ksawery Fujara's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Edward Kornecki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
