The Gorczyca SSA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cyprian Piglowski should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Gorczyca SSA's zone, Kev Harkness stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cyprian Piglowski came out of the goal and Kev Harkness tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cyprian Piglowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remigiusz Olejarz in the 17th minute of the match. Kev Harkness sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dubnik's Wit Walicki got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cyprian Piglowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wit Walicki, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Cyprian Piglowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wit Walicki's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. The supporters of Dubnik booed when Gorczyca SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dominik Burowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute, Szczepan Pleban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Kev Harkness's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cyprian Piglowski was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kev Harkness stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cyprian Piglowski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kev Harkness showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 51 minute of play. Though ot was a great shot Gorczyca SSA's keeper Cyprian Piglowski was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. If Adam Werra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kev Harkness in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cyprian Piglowski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Kev Harknesss short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Cyprian Piglowski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Przemyslaw Kaczanek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dubnik's supporters rose to their feet, but Przemyslaw Kaczanek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cyprian Piglowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Gorczyca SSA's zone, Przemyslaw Kaczanek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cyprian Piglowski came out of the goal and Przemyslaw Kaczanek tried to chip the ball over his head. Cyprian Piglowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kev Harkness in the 78thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cyprian Piglowski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, Gorczyca SSA's Cyprian Piglowski got control of the ball when Adam Werra tried to sneak it across the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Kev Harkness had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cyprian Piglowski. Gorczyca SSA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kev Harkness was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Kev Harkness could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Cyprian Piglowski made a huge save. In the 95th minute Remigiusz Olejarz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cyprian Piglowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dubnik's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
