After 3 played minutes KS MARKO got a freekick which was hit by Gwidon Wyrostek. 13 minutes into the match, FC ArcelorMittal Warszawa's goalkeeper Norbert Gerlach had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zbyszek Dziewedik. 14 minutes into the match, KS MARKO's Rafal Frenzel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Norbert Gerlach narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Damazy Drozdowski kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, KS MARKO's Zbyszek Dziewedik got a free kick in the 21st minute. Antoni Kosiorek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the match, Rafal Frenzel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Norbert Gerlach, 1-0. 36 minutes into the game, Antoni Kosiorek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Zdzislaw Barniszke was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 40th minute, Jan Byczewski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC ArcelorMittal Warszawa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Zbyszek Dziewedik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafal Frenzel to make the kick off. Antoni Kosiorek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Zdzislaw Barniszke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan Byczewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lech Gollob received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Zdzislaw Barniszke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Antoni Kosiorek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of FC ArcelorMittal Warszawa booed when KS MARKO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Pinczewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lech Gollob's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zdzislaw Barniszke read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Fabian Pinczewski was shown his second yellow card after 71 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 72 played minutes KS MARKO got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Pinczewski. If Antoni Kosiorek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to KS MARKO getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Rafal Frenzel hit a great ball. KS MARKO's Zdzislaw Barniszke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lech Gollob in the 87th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in KS MARKO's zone, Dobromir Kocieniewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zdzislaw Barniszke came out of the goal and Dobromir Kocieniewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rafal Frenzel during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 90th minute, Rafal Frenzel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind KS MARKO's goalkeeper Zdzislaw Barniszke, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zbyszek Dziewedik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Norbert Gerlach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over FC ArcelorMittal Warszawa could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than KS MARKO throughout the match.
