The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgar Baicu helped the player get up and apologised. After 3 played minutes Lech VIB got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Baicu. In the 5th minute, Ulryk Polek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andrzej Kasprzak hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. If Roch Rywin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michal Hoffman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Robak in the 13th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the game, Ulryk Polek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lech VIB's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bladowo the free kick. After having played for 26 minutes, Igor Robak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bladowo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Robak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michal Hoffman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Hejza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michal Hoffman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miroslaw Kajder, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Ulryk Polek hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Leon Arnista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute, Luisito Azibar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lech VIB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Izydor Karaszkiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Igor Robak made the kick off in the second half. Lech VIB were furious when Radomir Perkowski was red carded, 52 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 52nd minute, one of Lech VIB:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lech VIB. In the 59th minute, Leon Arnista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match, Lech VIB's goalkeeper Michal Hoffman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leon Arnista. Roch Rywin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Janusz Kornecki having to interfere. A hard shot 66 in the game by Robert Hejza from a close distance when the talented Michal Hoffman managed to make a qualified save. Lech VIB's players were relieved. Roch Rywin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Janusz Kornecki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lech VIB's Michal Hoffman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Robak in the 69th minute of play. After 81 played minutes Bladowo got a freekick which was hit by Miroslaw Kajder. When Igor Robak fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bladowo's protests and gave Igor Robak a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Lech VIB booed when Bladowo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Robak didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Bladowo's Michal Hoffman threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Igor Robak, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Miroslaw Kajder struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Michal Hoffman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bladowo. The Bladowo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
