After 23 played minutes Piotrkowski Widzew got a freekick which was hit by Norbert Puchlik. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacek Deput in the 30th minute of play forced Piotrkowski Widzew's goalkeeper Ludomir Tworek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jerzy Dulka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wiktor Popowicz in the 35th minute. In the 35th minute, Krzysztof Bykowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jerzy Dulka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boleslaw Pisarczyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind OKS's goalkeeper Jerzy Dulka, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 47 played minutes Piotrkowski Widzew got a freekick which was hit by Wincenty Panasewicz.

The wind increased when Boleslaw Pisarczyk made the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 62 in the game by Jacek Deput from a close distance when the talented Ludomir Tworek managed to make a qualified save. Piotrkowski Widzew's players were relieved. After some careless play in the OKS defense, Boleslaw Pisarczyk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jerzy Dulka. The OKS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jerzy Dulka should have stopped the shot. Ludomir Tworek made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Jacek Deput sent off a good shot on target. Wincenty Panasewicz hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Piotrkowski Widzew's Damian Rasialdo got a free kick in the 77th minute. With a little luck, Piotrkowski Widzew's Ludomir Tworek got control of the ball when Jacek Deput tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 94th match minute, OKS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zygmunt Hejza to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute Boleslaw Pisarczyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerzy Dulka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to OKS getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Krzysztof Bykowski hit a great ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
