Mateusz Paprotny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Szymon Arbaszewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Prosinko SA's Barnaba Skirzynski got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mateusz Paprotny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Wos, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute Nuno Meira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateusz Paprotny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, Alfred Penczkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute Damian Puzio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wlodzimierz Jaraczeski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was beautiful to see MKS Orzeł Międzyrzecz's Igor Wos in action when he in the 40th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! 44 minutes into the match, MKS Orzeł Międzyrzecz's goalkeeper Wlodzimierz Jaraczeski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Barnaba Skirzynski. 46 minutes into the game, MKS Orzeł Międzyrzecz's Nuno Meira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mateusz Paprotny made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After the first half MKS Orzeł Międzyrzecz were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nuno Meira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wlodzimierz Jaraczeski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Puzio in the 52nd minute of play. After 59 minutes, Barnaba Skirzynski made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. MKS Orzeł Międzyrzecz's Wlodzimierz Jaraczeski tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 62nd minute, MKS Orzeł Międzyrzecz's Nuno Meira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mateusz Paprotny. Mateusz Paprotny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Meira, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. A hard shot by Radoslaw Jakubiak from long distance, 80 minutes into the match, got Mateusz Paprotny's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The long shot by Radoslaw Jakubiak in the 81st minute really tested Mateusz Paprotny's skills. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the match, Fabian Markowski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mateusz Paprotny, 1-4. Nuno Meira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mateusz Paprotny having to make a save. Szymon Arbaszewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Mateusz Paprotny managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when MKS Orzeł Międzyrzecz's Nuno Meira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nuno Meira got free with Mateusz Paprotny in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
