In the 10th match minute, Yoshi Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klement Koprowski to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the match, Yoshi Team's goal looked a bit too open when Cezary Wos came free, but Herbert Winnicki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Yoshi Team's Benedykt Brzakala got a free kick in the 15th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zbyszko Gollob in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herbert Winnicki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Yoshi Team booed when Zawisza Bydgoszcz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfred Smolak didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Edward Debowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yoshi Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zawisza Bydgoszcz the free kick. In the 22nd match minute, Yoshi Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Debowski to maneuver through the defense. Sebastian Byczewski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 29 minutes of play, Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Cezary Wos made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Herbert Winnicki was left in no man's land by his defense there! Herbert Winnicki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cezary Wos in the 36th minute of the match. Yoshi Team's Herbert Winnicki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by César Lucas in the 39th minute of play. Herbert Winnicki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Czeslaw Szkaradek, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After the first half Zawisza Bydgoszcz were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Herbert Winnicki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cezary Wos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miromir Laba came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Yoshi Team's Edward Debowski. But to his dismay, Edward Debowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. César Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Winnicki having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Tymoteusz Zembrzuski fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Herbert Winnicki, passed just outside the right post. After a rather tough play, Yoshi Team's Klement Koprowski got a free kick in the 74th minute. Herbert Winnicki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cezary Wos in the 77th minute of play. Cezary Wos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Herbert Winnicki came out and tried to block the shot, but Cezary Wos slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 81st minute. In the 86th minute, Cezary Wos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Herbert Winnicki was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Herbert Winnicki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tymoteusz Zembrzuski, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Herbert Winnicki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tymoteusz Zembrzuski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute, César Lucas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
