Gillau SSA's Jocelyn Aubel managed to work through Grackowy Team UTD's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Jocelyn Aubel dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 6th match minute, Gillau SSA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olaf Kaider to maneuver through the defense. If Jocelyn Aubel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Czeslaw Filanowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edward Lepucki kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Ryszard Brzeszczak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jocelyn Aubel in the 18th minute of the match. With a little luck, Gillau SSA's Tolek Juchno got control of the ball when Wawrzyniec Ryback tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 23 minutes, Arkadiusz Pieknik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gillau SSA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arkadiusz Pieknik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Grackowy Team UTD's Ryszard Brzeszczak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jocelyn Aubel in the 25th minute of play. Radowit Szotek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ryszard Brzeszczak having to interfere. Radowit Szotek hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After 34 played minutes Gillau SSA got a freekick which was hit by Olaf Kaider. If Roch Jerzyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Radowit Szotek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ryszard Brzeszczak having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jocelyn Aubel in the 44th minute of play forced Grackowy Team UTD's goalkeeper Ryszard Brzeszczak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Jocelyn Aubel put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ryszard Brzeszczak. Tolek Juchno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roch Jerzyk in the 61st minute of play. Gillau SSA's Tolek Juchno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roch Jerzyk in the 63rd minute of play. Jocelyn Aubel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ryszard Brzeszczak made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Radowit Szotek sent off a good shot on target. In the 68th minute, Jocelyn Aubel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Gillau SSA's Radowit Szotek slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ryszard Brzeszczak. That made the score 0-2 after 69 minutes of play. 74 minutes into the match, Grackowy Team UTD's Wawrzyniec Ryback sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tolek Juchno narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 78th minute, Jocelyn Aubel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Grackowy Team UTD's Janusz Dobrowski got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ryszard Brzeszczak made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Jocelyn Aubel sent off a good shot on target. Jocelyn Aubels short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Ryszard Brzeszczak to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice moves Jocelyn Aubel could shoot a difficult shot in the 90th minute, which Ryszard Brzeszczak however easily saved by the left post. Radowit Szotek was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 91st minute. Gillau SSA's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Gillau SSA's Jocelyn Aubel got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gillau SSA's Radowit Szotek got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gillau SSA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
