Zachariasz Rasialdo might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eugeniusz Tepper. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zachariasz Rasialdo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 25th minute Sylwester Szarmach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugeniusz Tepper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remigiusz Januszewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aleksander Plaski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zagłębie Sosnowiec's Remigiusz Januszewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleksander Plaski in the 32nd minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Tobiasze SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Sylwester Szarmach came free, but Eugeniusz Tepper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Zagłębie Sosnowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Aleksander Plaski came free, but Remigiusz Januszewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aleksander Sobania was the one to do the kick off. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tobiasze SSA's goalkeeper Eugeniusz Tepper, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, Zagłębie Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Remigiusz Januszewski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Zworski. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Zworski got free with Remigiusz Januszewski in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sylwester Szarmach's late challenge caught a Tobiasze SSA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
