Waldemar Chojnacki didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 10th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Waldemar Chojnacki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rafal Mielak went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Radowit Pierz struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Witold Mentis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KSP Legia Warszawa. Wincent Kornasiewicz's late challenge caught a Lizawice's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wincent Kornasiewicz helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to KSP Legia Warszawa getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Wincent Kornasiewicz hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zdzislaw Nieruchliwy was the one to do the kick off. Zdzislaw Nieruchliwy was extremely unlucky when he, in the 53rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 56th minute Radoslaw Sawicki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Chojnacki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Waclaw Kopacz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, KSP Legia Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Barna came free, but Waldemar Chojnacki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, Radoslaw Sawicki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Waldemar Chojnacki was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0.
