The audience was convinced that Igor Maziarski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tanek Fleszar was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Tanek Fleszar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbyszek Japola in the 20th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC RADOM's Hieronim Kuszczak got a free kick in the 24th minute. Tanek Fleszar came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Papaj FC's Igor Maziarski. But to his dismay, Igor Maziarski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Miroslaw Rawa's late challenge caught a Papaj FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miroslaw Rawa helped the player get up and apologised. Miroslaw Rawa kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. The supporters of Papaj FC booed when FC RADOM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janusz Sowa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Igor Maziarski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Papaj FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Igor Maziarski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tanek Fleszar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zbyszko Koprowski scored 0-4 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tanek Fleszar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wincent Paciuszko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Tanek Fleszar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tanek Fleszar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Maziarski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute Zbyszko Koprowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanek Fleszar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tanek Fleszar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbyszek Japola in the 42nd minute of play. Tanek Fleszar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbyszko Koprowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as FC RADOM's Janusz Sowa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zygmunt Kicia. That made the score 1-4 after 45 minutes of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Janusz Sowa made a kick off. Tanek Fleszar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zbyszko Koprowski in the 52nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Igor Maziarski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Papaj FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Igor Maziarski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tanek Fleszar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Janusz Sowa managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 71st minute, Papaj FC's Igor Maziarski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tanek Fleszar. Tanek Fleszar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. Papaj FC's Zbyszko Koprowski managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bartosz Sniegowski in the 75 minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Igor Maziarski took a quick shot and it went in 1-7 without a chance for Tanek Fleszar to make any attempt to save it. In the 80th minute, Zbyszko Koprowski sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC RADOM's Tanek Fleszar didn't even have to move. Igor Maziarski took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tanek Fleszar. Tanek Fleszar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-8. In the 85thth minute of the game Igor Maziarski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC RADOM's Tanek Fleszar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zbyszek Japola could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Tanek Fleszar made a huge save. Papaj FC's Cezary Serwacki got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ziemowit Andrysiak's late challenge caught a Papaj FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ziemowit Andrysiak helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zbyszko Koprowski in the 94th minute of play forced FC RADOM's goalkeeper Tanek Fleszar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Papaj FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC RADOM throughout the match.
