The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With his leg Olaf Madej managed to avoid a goal in the 5thth minute, when Wściekłe Byki's Przemyslaw Trynda fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 11 minutes into the match, FC Wisła Oświeć Się's goal looked a bit too open when Przemyslaw Trynda came free, but Olaf Madej reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Wściekłe Byki defense, Marek Kensicki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jurand Gongola. The Wściekłe Byki fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jurand Gongola should have stopped the shot. Jurand Gongola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Czeslaw Bartelak, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marek Kensicki in the 19th minute of play forced Wściekłe Byki's goalkeeper Jurand Gongola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Teofil Chlapowski in the 35th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Wściekłe Byki's Tomasz Domeracki. Olaf Madej was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Aureliusz Bulkiewicz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aureliusz Bulkiewicz really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Konrad Dziewulski to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Przemyslaw Trynda in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olaf Madej saved FC Wisła Oświeć Się from getting behind. Wściekłe Byki's Jurand Gongola proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Wściekłe Byki from getting a goal against them. With 67 minutes on the clock, Herbert Szkarpiak commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Wściekłe Byki fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 66th minute. Penalty! An unexpected shot in the 72nd minute by Marek Kensicki got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 75 played minutes FC Wisła Oświeć Się got a freekick which was hit by Czeslaw Bartelak. After 82 minutes, Teofil Chlapowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Wisła Oświeć Się and the Wściekłe Byki players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 81 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Wisła Oświeć Się! The referee gave Wściekłe Byki a penalty, 83 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Slawomir Borczak, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Wisła Oświeć Się's Olaf Madej. 2-2. In the 87th minute Dawid Fiszer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olaf Madej saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, FC Wisła Oświeć Się's Roman Klocko dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. 94 minutes into the match, Wściekłe Byki's goalkeeper Jurand Gongola had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marek Kensicki. Through an outstanding action, after 99 minutes, Jurand Gongola successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Wisła Oświeć Się walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
