The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sidnei Goiano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Borys Mazurkiewicz went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Radomil Smolarek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Tomasz Paprotny tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 14 played minutes AS Panthers Piórkowo got a freekick which was hit by Zula Debkowski. Damazy Popowicz charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Damazy Popowicz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cierpigórz booed when AS Panthers Piórkowo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damazy Popowicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The tension between the Cierpigórz and the AS Panthers Piórkowo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cierpigórz's Przemyslaw Szkaradek got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After 77 played minutes AS Panthers Piórkowo got a freekick which was hit by Damazy Popowicz. With a little luck, AS Panthers Piórkowo's Sidnei Goiano got control of the ball when Borys Mazurkiewicz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sidnei Goiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kacper Pusiak in the 86th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, AS Panthers Piórkowo's Radomil Smolarek got a free kick in the 86th minute. Bogdan Sidorowicz's late challenge caught a AS Panthers Piórkowo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bogdan Sidorowicz helped the player get up and apologised. Wladyslaw Bugajski shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Cierpigórz's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
