The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Damian Sochacki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Barcelona fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The throw-in from Milosz Traczewski in the 20th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by CF Błażejowice's Franciszek Majusiak. Ola Apelkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Gamza, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After a rather tough play, FC Barcelona's Grzegorz Lerych got a free kick in the 23rd minute. CF Błażejowice's Juliusz Smolarek got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25th minute, Kryspin Penczkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulryk Misiewicz during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ulryk Misiewicz hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Robert Gamza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ola Apelkvist was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. 32 minutes into the game, one of FC Barcelona:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ulryk Misiewicz walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Ola Apelkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Gamza, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Grzegorz Lerych hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute Juliusz Smolarek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ola Apelkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robert Gamza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. CF Błażejowice's Franciszek Majusiak quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Milosz Traczewski, made in the 45th minute of the game. Wincent Kilar hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

FC Barcelona's Ola Apelkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Gamza in the 55th minute of play. Ola Apelkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Gamza in the 57th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robert Gamza in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ola Apelkvist saved FC Barcelona from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robert Gamza in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ola Apelkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 62 played minutes CF Błażejowice got a freekick which was hit by Wincent Kilar. 70 minutes in the game Konstanty Walkowski did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Damian Sochacki. 72 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Gamza came free, but Ola Apelkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Gamza in the 75th minute of play forced FC Barcelona's goalkeeper Ola Apelkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ola Apelkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Gamza, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Barcelona's goalkeeper Ola Apelkvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
