The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Blankos L C.F. getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Jan Bazan hit a great ball. Gilbert Andrzejewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zula Bator, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Gilbert Andrzejewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zula Bator in the 9th minute of the match. After 10 played minutes, Blankos L C.F.'s Damian Juchno shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gilbert Andrzejewski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Blankos L C.F. reached it. In the 12th minute Zula Bator shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilbert Andrzejewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th match minute, Blankos L C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Bazan to maneuver through the defense. Zula Bator sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of FC Szewce booed when Blankos L C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Bazan didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Blankos L C.F. getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Karol Zacharzewski hit a great ball. Czeslaw Czciborek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernard Filanowski in the 21st minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Blankos L C.F.'s goalkeeper Czeslaw Czciborek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zygmunt Setara. Zygmunt Setara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Czeslaw Czciborek having to interfere. After 28 played minutes Blankos L C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Karol Zacharzewski. Karol Zacharzewski kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Czeslaw Czciborek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernard Filanowski's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Blankos L C.F.'s goalkeeper Czeslaw Czciborek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zygmunt Setara. Slawomir Sikola hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After having played for 37 minutes, Wit Dembkowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blankos L C.F.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Wit Dembkowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Zygmunt Hyska came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Blankos L C.F. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zygmunt Hyska couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Bernard Filanowski made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Blankos L C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Zygmunt Setara came free, but Czeslaw Czciborek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilbert Andrzejewski made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Zula Bator sent off a good shot on target. 54 minutes into the game, Zygmunt Hyska cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Gilbert Andrzejewski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Blankos L C.F.'s Jan Bazan got a free kick in the 60th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Blankos L C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Bernard Filanowski came free, but Czeslaw Czciborek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Zygmunt Hyska had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, FC Szewce's Robert Fetor got a free kick in the 66th minute. After having played for 68 minutes, Zygmunt Hyska managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blankos L C.F.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Zygmunt Hyska was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gilbert Andrzejewski made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Zula Bator sent off a good shot on target. Czeslaw Czciborek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernard Filanowski in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute Bernard Filanowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Czeslaw Czciborek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zygmunt Hyska sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jurand Haskiewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. The supporters of FC Szewce booed when Blankos L C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gwidon Skonieczny didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zula Bators short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Gilbert Andrzejewski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Zygmunt Hyska had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Blankos L C.F. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Blankos L C.F. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
