Addi Hrafnsson really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Maciej Napierkowski's late challenge caught a Wzgórze SSA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maciej Napierkowski helped the player get up and apologised. After 7th play minutes Franciszek Obuchowicz shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Tadeusz Kuszczak and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 10th minute Tencho Tzurinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jurand Filanowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jurand Filanowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tencho Tzurinski's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. The supporters of MKS START NIDZICA booed when Wzgórze SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franciszek Obuchowicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to MKS START NIDZICA getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Sebastian Piszczor hit a great ball. Tadeusz Kuszczak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulryk Siwek in the 16th minute of the match. Tadeusz Kuszczak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Franciszek Obuchowicz's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. If Hugon Gejda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Wzgórze SSA's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Takis Karaveris fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Addi Hrafnsson got free with Jurand Filanowski in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jurand Filanowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Addi Hrafnsson in the 26th minute. If Takis Karaveris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. MKS START NIDZICA's Tadeusz Kuszczak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franciszek Obuchowicz in the 32nd minute of play. In the 45th minute, Addi Hrafnsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Addi Hrafnsson was the one to do the kick off. Tadeusz Kuszczak made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Franciszek Obuchowicz sent off a good shot on target. 55 minutes into the match, Franciszek Obuchowicz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tadeusz Kuszczak, 1-2. After having played for 59 minutes, Ulryk Siwek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wzgórze SSA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulryk Siwek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Franciszek Obuchowicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeusz Kuszczak having to interfere. Tadeusz Kuszczak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulryk Siwek, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 64th minute, MKS START NIDZICA's Boleslaw Szotek seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Boleslaw Szotek the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of MKS START NIDZICA protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Boleslaw Szotek had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 63rd minute, one of MKS START NIDZICA:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for MKS START NIDZICA. Tadeusz Kuszczak had in the 66thth minute some difficulties stopping Ulryk Zapolski's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 66th minute, Ulryk Zapolski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tadeusz Kuszczak was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. 68 minutes into the game, MKS START NIDZICA's Tencho Tzurinski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jurand Filanowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Tencho Tzurinski hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Wzgórze SSA's Jurand Filanowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Addi Hrafnsson in the 76th minute of play. In the 79th match minute, Wzgórze SSA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wincent Czerner to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the MKS START NIDZICA defense, Ulryk Siwek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tadeusz Kuszczak. The MKS START NIDZICA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tadeusz Kuszczak should have stopped the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Wzgórze SSA walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
