Dill Gang's supporters rose to their feet, but Jedrzej Rosiewicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remigiusz Boruta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aleksander Pasterski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Remigiusz Boruta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aleksander Pasterski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigiusz Boruta having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Brejdyny SA's zone, Aleksander Pasterski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remigiusz Boruta came out of the goal and Aleksander Pasterski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Dill Gang booed when Brejdyny SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ryszard Ochylski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benedykt Skoroda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Remigiusz Boruta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aleksander Pasterskis short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Remigiusz Boruta to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jedrzej Rosiewicz struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Remigiusz Boruta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dill Gang. When Lukasz Plachetka fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brejdyny SA's protests and gave Lukasz Plachetka a yellow card for diving instead. Lukasz Plachetka hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the game, Aleksander Pasterski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Remigiusz Boruta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 35th minute, Dill Gang's Alfred Hodas seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alfred Hodas the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Dill Gang protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alfred Hodas had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 37 minutes into the match, Adam Mietus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olaf Tuliszewski. Dill Gang's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adam Mietus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Olgierd Borowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Remigiusz Boruta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Olgierd Borowski ran back to his position shaking his head. After 47 played minutes Brejdyny SA got a freekick which was hit by Lukasz Plachetka. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benedykt Skoroda was the one to do the kick off.
