Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Patricio Caballero took the kick off in the first half of the match. Maciej Patora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Klement Ciechocki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maciej Patora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 13 minutes into the match, Piast Gliwice's goalkeeper Wasyl Kapelski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kryspin Gotfryd. Zagłębie Smokers's Klement Ciechocki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zdzislaw Wojtkiewicz in the 19th minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Piast Gliwice's Zdzislaw Wojtkiewicz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Klement Ciechocki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Wojciech Gruchacz made in the 35th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Zagłębie Smokers's Andrzej Golec. When Kryspin Gotfryd came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Zagłębie Smokers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kryspin Gotfryd couldn't finish the play. In the 37th minute, Jaroslaw Labus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maciej Patora took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Klement Ciechocki. Klement Ciechocki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The Zagłębie Smokers players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Piast Gliwice were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maciej Patora was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Piast Gliwice's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Caballero came free, but Wasyl Kapelski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Piast Gliwice's Wasyl Kapelski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kryspin Gotfryd in the 64th minute of play. If Aureliusz Dziura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Piast Gliwice's Klement Harasimowicz was substituted for Konrad Owsiak. After 72 played minutes Piast Gliwice got a freekick which was hit by Klement Harasimowicz. Izydor Turok struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Klement Ciechocki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piast Gliwice. Wasyl Kapelski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Caballero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aureliusz Dziura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Klement Ciechocki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Piast Gliwice's zone, Wincenty Nikodemski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wasyl Kapelski came out of the goal and Wincenty Nikodemski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wasyl Kapelski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wincenty Nikodemski in the 97th minute of the match. After 98 minutes of play, Zagłębie Smokers's Wincenty Nikodemski made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wasyl Kapelski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Piast Gliwice's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
