After a defensive mix-up in Malibu's zone, Wlodzimierz Mentus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomasz Dulemba came out of the goal and Wlodzimierz Mentus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 5th minute Gavril Şneapotă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomasz Dulemba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Malibu's zone, Gavril Şneapotă stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomasz Dulemba came out of the goal and Gavril Şneapotă tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomasz Dulemba made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Gavril Şneapotă sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Malibu getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Borys Czech hit a great ball. If Gavril Şneapotă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Malibu's Tomasz Dulemba got control of the ball when Witalis Mosiniak tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Mauer SA booed when Malibu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Borys Oborski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute, Roman Kon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomasz Dulemba made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Wlodzimierz Mentus sent off a good shot on target. In the 39th minute, Malibu's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Witalis Mosiniak fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Mauer SA's Sebastian Treppa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klement Banas in the 43rd minute of play. Sebastian Treppa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roch Jastrowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Mauer SA defense, Beniamin Weyna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastian Treppa. The Mauer SA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastian Treppa should have stopped the shot. After the first half Malibu were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gavril Şneapotă to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Malibu's goal looked a bit too open when Wlodzimierz Mentus came free, but Tomasz Dulemba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gavril Şneapotă scored 1-1 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomasz Dulemba, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Wlodzimierz Mentus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, Malibu's Beniamin Weyna ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sebastian Treppa. Sebastian Treppa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavril Şneapotă in the 83rd minute of play forced Malibu's goalkeeper Tomasz Dulemba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute Beniamin Weyna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Treppa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastian Treppa made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Beniamin Weyna sent off a good shot on target. In the 87th match minute, Malibu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zbigniew Resel to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th match minute, Mauer SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Kon to maneuver through the defense. Sebastian Budzynski struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Tomasz Dulemba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mauer SA.
