But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fryderyk Bochinski couldn't finish the play. When Juliusz Gniech fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Krosno's protests and gave Juliusz Gniech a yellow card for diving instead. After 31 played minutes Krosno got a freekick which was hit by Juliusz Gniech. Fryderyk Bochinski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Wlodzimierz Ogrodowicz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 38th minute, Juliusz Gniech made a precise shot to the right of Maciej Karp. Komarówka's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Komarówka's zone, Iwo Majusiak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maciej Karp came out of the goal and Iwo Majusiak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edward Korytkowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute of the match Tomasz Daszkowski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wlodzimierz Ogrodowicz skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Komarówka booed when Krosno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iwo Wielkopolski didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fryderyk Bochinski in the 79th minute of play forced Krosno's goalkeeper Wlodzimierz Ogrodowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes in the game, Mariusz Kostrzewa fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Maciej Karp having to interfere. Fryderyk Bochinski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes in the game, Edward Korytkowski dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. If Fryderyk Bochinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fryderyk Bochinski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Wlodzimierz Ogrodowicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Komarówka's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
