Radomir Rudy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Logewnik in the 9th minute of the match. Hagenau SSA's Michal Slazak got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Herbert Logewnik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Strupina SA's supporters rose to their feet, but Herbert Logewnik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Radomir Rudy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 21 minutes into the match, Hagenau SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Tobiasz Peczkowski came free, but Radomir Rudy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Norbert Plucinik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Radomir Rudy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dawid Kaczanek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Hagenau SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Tobiasz Peczkowski came free, but Radomir Rudy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Radomir Rudy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobiasz Peczkowski in the 30th minute of play. Bernard Paprotny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norbert Plucinik, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Norbert Plucinik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Hagenau SSA defense, Tobiasz Peczkowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Radomir Rudy. The Hagenau SSA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Radomir Rudy should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobiasz Peczkowski in the 48th minute of play forced Hagenau SSA's goalkeeper Radomir Rudy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Norbert Plucinik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Witalis Mnich managed to get in a good position for a shot. Herbert Logewnik took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Radomir Rudy. Radomir Rudy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 96 minutes into the match, Hagenau SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Tobiasz Peczkowski came free, but Radomir Rudy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
