The audience thought a goal was coming when Kazimierz Janiczek got free with Jose Tipi in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jose Tipi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kazimierz Janiczek, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Cezary Giejda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Kobylinnen SSA booed when MKS Start Radziejów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfred Galus didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Jan Niemoj managed to get in a good position for a shot. After a defensive mix-up in Kobylinnen SSA's zone, Zdzislaw Wysocki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Cuber came out of the goal and Zdzislaw Wysocki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Evert Söderman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Cuber having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Kobylinnen SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Niemoj came free, but Edgar Cuber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, MKS Start Radziejów's goalkeeper Jose Tipi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kazimierz Janiczek. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When Kobylinnen SSA's Cezary Giejda in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MKS Start Radziejów's goalie prevented a goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
