Zdrojek's Florian Jaruzelski got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Real Madryt's zone, Fabian Koczara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iwan Gmoch came out of the goal and Fabian Koczara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wojciech Zalipski's late challenge caught a Zdrojek's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wojciech Zalipski helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Real Madryt's Wojciech Zalipski got a free kick in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Zdrojek's Andrzej Niezywy broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 16th match minute, Zdrojek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norbert Dziatkowicz to maneuver through the defense. Iwan Damazki, 17 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Damazy Niewiadomski made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Real Madryt's Witomir Konieczny got a free kick in the 61st minute. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Fabian Koczara took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Iwan Gmoch to make any attempt to save it. In the 69th minute, Damazy Niewiadomski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zdrojek's Fabian Koczara got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 79 minutes into the match, Florian Jaruzelski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iwan Gmoch. Real Madryt's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florian Jaruzelski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Zdrojek's Florian Beninda got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 91st match minute, Real Madryt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Winszman to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Damazy Niewiadomski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Madryt's supporters rose to their feet, but Damazy Niewiadomski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zbyszek Rzeszutko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
