An unexpectedly hard shot by Olgierd Bycofski in the 3rd minute of play forced Staniszów SA's goalkeeper Lech Jastrowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Witold Scigan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Waclaw Prosowski's late challenge caught a Staniszów SA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Waclaw Prosowski helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Staniszów SA booed when Marlinowo SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariusz Plech fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Witold Scigan having to interfere. When Grzegorz Klewinski came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Staniszów SA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Grzegorz Klewinski couldn't finish the play. If Mariusz Plech had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
